What we've been getting up to..
As Chloe's Dance Company comes to the end of its 7th year of business, we are pleased to report we are now as busy as ever, with our days taking us from day centre to care home to school and back again.
Thank you to everyone for keeping us so busy and making it possible to do what we love every day.
Our classes at The Hermitage are still going strong, with our 'Hermitage Hooligans' taking part in weekly sessions which help their hand eye coordination, manual dexterity and reaction times, as well as general mobility, and not forgetting the social aspect. We are almost always guaranteed a sing-along when we visit, with music chosen by the residents being the foundation for a successful class.
In 2022, we were nominated for Peterborough Small Businesswoman of the Year, and we couldn't believe it when we won! We also came 5th in the Public Vote, which included the 80+ businesses across all categories.
We had a fantastic night out, and it was so lovely to support and be supported by so many other small businesses. We felt very humbled to be a part of it.
We are excited to still be working in our usual schools, whether that's delivering cross-curricular topic based classes, or lunch and after school clubs. Some of our dancers have been with us from EYFS, all the way to Year 6, and we can't believe we have been in some of our schools for 10 years now!
We are continuing to work closely with local charity Goldhay Arts, delivering two sessions a week at their new location, Orton Centre . Both mornings are very well attended with the groups enjoying working towards biannual shows.
